Thea Dillon

Thea is a Director of GCPSH and the Principal Remedial Massage Therapist. In addition to holding a Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy, she holds a degree in Exercise Science from the University of Wollongong, and has over six years experience as a Remedial Massage Therapist. Thea has extensive experience in treating a variety of clientele with a range of musculoskeletal conditions and complaints, and enjoys working with clients of various ages, athletic ability, and health status. She is a regular therapist for a number of elite athletes, particularly within the sports of Triathlon, Swimming and Athletics, and has been the Head Massage Therapist for the Australian Age-Group Team at the World Triathlon Championships on a number of occasions.

Thea has a special interest in the use of specific soft tissue techniques to enhance performance and treat musculoskeletal conditions that cause pain and dysfunction, such as headaches & back pain. She is passionate about the numerous benefits that massage therapy can bring to the body, and advocates the use of soft tissue techniques as a maintenance strategy for good health and optimal performance. On a personal level, Thea trained and competed as a Triathlete for a number of years, most extensively over the Half-Ironman and Ironman distances, so understands how important regular massage treatment is for optimal performance, and injury management and prevention.

She is available at GCPSH Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays.
