Counselling

What can a Counsellor do for you??

Our counsellor is trained and experienced in assisting clients to better understand and then develop an individualised, practical set of skills to help overcome specific personal obstacles or barriers. Counselling sessions at GCPSH are conducted in a consultation room which ensures confidentiality and privacy for the client. This means that each client is given the opportunity to talk in confidence about whatever is troubling them and openly express their thoughts, feelings and emotions.

Some issues that counseling may help overcome include:
  • Depression, anxiety and stress
  • Weight management
  • Body-image and self-esteem
  • Pain management
  • Relationship issues and family conflict
  • Setting and achieving life Goals for personal development (ie – life coaching)

If you are considering scheduling a counseling session, however, are unsure whether this would be suitable for you, please contact the clinic and we will arrange for our counsellor, Kerri Gunthorpe, to contact you. For more information on Kerri's qualifications and experience go to Kerri Gunthorpe , GCPSH Counsellor.

To schedule an appointment, please phone the clinic.
